.....I made crane 954/1000 awhile ago and planned to give it to Oprah(long story) was told she did not accept gifts ...stumped me and lost my inspiration for the cranes ..through a client ...was told about this young girl in LA actress/dancer who fell from a tree and now a parapalegic...anyway she has a play called Catapillar Soup ....he went t see it and it is the story of her healing and acceptance process since her fall...as she tells about the healing she folds an origami crane......after she finished folding she wheeled her chair over and gave it to Glenn(client) he was blowen away...well after he told me several weeks alater he showed me her play postcard and the colors were the same as crane 954/1000, I knew that that crane was to go to her...we have been in contact ..she is so appreciative My client has got her an audition for the north county rep thearte.....all because of the cranes he says....... |
